So, this is the first blog for our new venture Impuritee. When I say venture, I mean adventure really, because it\u2019s been a journey of discovery getting from a vague idea born in the pub between two mates to the stage where we\u2019re actually selling T-shirts online.<\/p>

I won\u2019t bore you with the details other than to say, we thought it would be a good way for us to keep our creative brains turning over as our own industry, advertising, seems to be turning its back on humour and great ideas, in favour of \u2018does what it says on the tin\u2019 advertising by numbers.<\/p>

We started putting together some T-shirt ideas, thinking along the lines of T-shirts that would make great gifts for people interested in various hobbies and pastimes. Of course, beer came first, because it segued nicely with my other job as a beer writer and author of \u00a0How to Order a Beer in any Country in the World<\/u><\/a>, but then we thought of some great fishing ideas, my son inspired some gym related Tees and our mutual failure as home chefs inspired some cooking related Tees.<\/p> \u00a0<\/p> We explored various platforms for creating and selling T Shirts \u2013 and there are a lot of print on demand options out there that help to do the heavy lifting for you. We settled on TeeMill<\/u><\/a> as they had a great website builder, have a reputation for quality and offer sustainable products.\u00a0 After a lot of trial and error, and a lot of fun thinking up ideas, we\u2019ve now ready to launch.
